Hello Jesus, my good friend--author of my faith, I've come to consult with you again. As you see, our state of affairs is in an atrocious mess. We have been blessed with land, seasons, water, knowledge, space and atmospherically balanced air so that we can breathe easy; fruits, foods and trees of every kind, healing herbs from every nation, the miracle of the sun, the moon, and the stars. Cultural diversity in which we articulate and share ideas, colors, stories, art, music, songs and dances. And what have we done?
We have repulsed our differences, destroyed the land and atmosphere in which we have been blessed to populate. We've oppressed the poor, the weak and those at a disadvantage. We allowed our greed, selfishness, and futile disposition to take precedence over obedience, reverence, respect and honor. Our disbelief, deceitful and selfish desires have deceived us.
We try to take control of humanity, ruthlessly pilfering power, money and positions. Little do we know; we will never have control. And it's just a matter of time. For all things, we are truly grateful.
Now here we are on the cusp of a new year. We are all waiting at the universal gateway of 2021, hoping for the best. On precisely Jan the first, that gateway shifts open for everyone. May we realign with the firm will to heal our lives, our nation, flourish, have faith, respect each other's differences and inspire hope and love.
